First affiliated with the NRA in 1922, and then incorporated in 1937, Alliance Rifle Club (ARC) is proud to have a history of competitive shooting activities centered on NRA Highpower Rifle Competition. Many ARC members compete in local (club & league events), state, national, and international competitions. Several members have even represented the United States in International ‘Palma’ events. ARC is financially, organizationally, and functionally structured to support NRA highpower competitive shooting. Our facility is located in Brown Township, Carroll County, Ohio on State Route 43 approximately 1/2 mile west of Malvern. The club offers two multi use ranges for position shooting from 200 through 1,000 yards with a below grade pits and target hoist systems.
ARC hosts NRA Highpower league matches. Presently, ARC is the home range of the Ohio-Penn Rifle League, Inc. The league fires XTC, PALMA, Mid-Range, Long Range and F-Class courses of fire from mid-March to mid-November. 2011 marked the start of league use of the 1,000 yard range.
As we believe recreational marksmanship is a family oriented activity, it is our intention to support this aspect of our sport. ARC offers a family membership plan. Specifically, this allows an entire family access to our complex. Once an adult family member completes the application, listing spouse and legal dependents (W2 claimants and 20 years of age or younger), there is a one time initiation fee of $60.00 (plus tax). Annual dues per family are $150.00 (plus tax). When dependents reach twenty-one (21) years of age, they become adult members and will pay the annual membership fee of $150.00 (initiation fee is waived).
